Terms of Service
Effective date: May 12, 2026
1. The service & parties
Calmy ("Calmy", "we", "us") is a self-service appointment booking tool operated by Highintent. These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Highintent. By creating an account, connecting a calendar, or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1a. Payments — Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to billing and handles returns and refunds. Subscriptions to Calmy renew automatically on the cycle you selected at checkout (monthly or annually) at the price shown at the time of purchase, until you cancel. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, and refunds are issued in accordance with our Refund Policy.
1b. Intellectual property
Highintent retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Calmy service, including all software, documentation, branding, logos, and content we provide (excluding your user content). You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose during your subscription. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the service except as permitted by law.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Calmy. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Calmy for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages through the booking flow.
- Attempt to access data that is not yours, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the service.
- Reverse-engineer the service except as permitted by law.
4. Google integration
By connecting a Google account you authorize Calmy to read calendar busy/free times and create events on the calendars you select, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect Calmy at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
5. Service availability
Calmy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, especially during the closed-beta period.
6. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calmy disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calmy and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
8. Termination
You may stop using Calmy at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if required for security or legal reasons.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by email.
